SageGroup Strategies Forms Religious Sector Division to Help and Interact with Religion-Related Troubled and Untroubled Entities

Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; and Los Angeles, CA -- July 5, 2005. SageGroup Strategies announces that it has formed a Religious Sector Division to help and interact with religion-related troubled and untroubled entities worldwide. The Division will not only help religion-related entities directly, but will also work through them in order to help troubled companies. The Division will work with all religions.

SGS is the USA's and world's largest Professional Troubled-Company Specialist firm, with over 600 professionals based in over 60 offices located in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Chaplain Alvin McKinley, a SGS Religious Sector Division Co-Manager with over 40 years of experience as a religious and spiritual professional, stated, "An important priority of the Division will be to work with religion-related entities in order to introduce SGS's professional troubled-company services to the owners and other principals of troubled companies. These principals often turn to religion-related persons (such as chaplains, ministers, rabbis, priests, and others) for spiritual, emotional, family, and other personal help and guidance. Now, these chaplains, et.al., can add to their help and support by also introducing these principals to SGS for help in many ways with the business, financial, managerial, and other business-related problems. This can be very much to the benefit of the troubled-company principals, their families, their communities, and others."

Vince Cesarani, a SGS Religious Sector Division member with many years of senior-level business experience, and who is also an ordained independent Baptist minister currently completing the Master's Degree in Theology degree program at Liberty University's Theological Seminary, added, "Another important priority of the Division is for SGS to help troubled religion-related entities of various types. One group is troubled companies that are providing religion-related products and services. Another group is troubled religious entities, such as dioceses, churches, temples, mosques, and others. In all cases it is a wonderful feeling to be using SGS's strong business-related capabilities to be helping these religion-related entities so that they can concentrate more on their religious and spiritual missions and objectives."

Larry Lindsey, another SGS Religious Sector Division Co-Manager and a very experienced troubled-company specialist, executive, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, financier, and corporate development specialist, including in over 300 troubled-company situations, emphasized, "This Division is an excellent illustration of the multifaceted nature of the SageGroup organization. SageGroup has always placed a high value on integrity, honor, helping others, and other high principles. While SGS is a strong capable credible organization in the secular business world, it also is very focused on spiritual values. As one example, for 13 years SGS has internally given its new Associates a list of top opportunities within SGS, one of which is the 'opportunity to help save or create jobs, protect reputations and careers, and otherwise maximize the positive nonfinancial results of successfully handling troubled-company situations'. For this and other reasons, SageGroup has long had three concurrent nicknames, being called 'The Church', 'The Firm', and 'The Family'. Because of this spiritual focus, it is very gratifying to many SGS persons to be closely working with and through religion-related persons and other entities."

The SGS Religious Sector Division has at least one representative in every SGS Office worldwide. For maximum confidentiality, initial inquiries from troubled religion-related companies and their representatives can be directed to Larry Lindsey, a SGS Managing Director and a SGS Religious Sector Division Co-Manager, at SGS's International Coordination Office, phone number (510) 865-2480.
